Nano-Tandem project has pushed forward the conversion efficiency of binary InP nanowire solar cells. For InP nanowire grown by a bottom-up approach the new record has been set at 15%. This progress has been achieved thanks to a feedback loop between the growth, high through-put nanoscale analyses and optimization of the fabrication technology.
